As part of a longstanding partnership, Zevenbergen Capital recently hosted a visit from the Seattle University Redhawk Fund. The fund provides undergraduate and graduate students hands-on investment experience by allowing them to actively manage a portion of the university’s endowment. Student managers presented a stock idea to the ZCI team, fielding questions and providing feedback based on their extensive research.

In recognition of their work with Seattle University, two of ZCI’s team members were recognized during this year’s Albers School of Business and Economics Leadership Celebration.  Portfolio Manager Brooke de Boutray received the Albers Exemplary Service Award.   She has volunteered her time with the university for over 20 years and currently serves on the Department of Finance Advisory Board at the Albers School.  Investment Officer Herb Albin was also recognized at the event for mentoring students for the past 15 years.

Members of the ZCI team are proud of their work with Seattle University students and will continue to support the next generation of finance professionals.
